In all of the CoExistance threads / technet articles I have read, it seems an assumption is made that you will be swinging over to 2010 right away, and proxying to 2007 as legacy.
The environment I am in we are not allowed to do that. We cannot make any changes to the 2007 environment until after testing, pilot, and then migrations will begin to occur. We have over 12000 users that cannot be impacted in any way, and this will not be an overnight / weekend project.
So, the main question: Is there a way that I can use (point 2010 CAS to) the 2007 production environment virtual directories for my OAB, Free Busy etc so that I can test and pilot my 2010 environment using an Outlook client?
When I run get-oabvirtualdirectory I get the names of the current 2007 CAS array.
When I run test-outlookwebservices I get a Dr Watson warning error and "failed to find the mailbox <extestxxxx@xxxx.com" (assuming this is a system MB in the 2007 environment)
Any assistance greatly appreciated,
Thanks
