ActiveSync/IMAP not working for single user

I have a peculiar problem with my Exchange 2010 server. I migrated from 2003 a few months ago and everything works perfectly. I properly decomissioned the old server when the time came. My issue lies with a single user that is unable to use ActiveSync.

Anytime we setup his email account on his phone it states that his username and password is incorrect or that there was a communication problem with the server. We tried setting his account up on my phone also and it still didn't work. IMAP doesn't work either.

I've tried disabling and re-enabling ActiveSync on his account. We've also had him change his password. None of this has helped. No other accounts are experiencing this issue.

As a last resort, I will delete his account and create a new one for him. However, I'd like to avoid this if possible. Anybody have any ideas?
