I have Exchange 2010 SP2.
Currently when I do a search, I only get messages older than 08-02-2012. I cannot see anything newer, even if I open a message from today, copy a word from the subject or body and paste that in the search. It also doesnt seem to matter what I
select for the search or search filter. I didnt see any option to search for items by a speccific date. I hope I am just overlooking it somewhere.
The email was downloaded from a Godaddy server and imported to the Exchange server in late June. I had issues with the IPF.IMAP folder setting causing permission issues with copying to and searching subfolders.
Here is a link on what was dont to fix this.
The only documentation I have that says anything was done close to 08-02-2012 was using the Get-Folderpermission command on a couple folders on 08-01-2012. The next thing done would be the installing of SP2 which was done after 08-08-2012.
