After a cross forest migration, we used autodiscover to redirect Outlook clients to the new mail servers which worked fine. But the Offline Adress Book is still the one from the source domain. I know I can delete the OAB files from the hard drive of each client. But there has to be better way to overwrite the old OAB with the one from the new target domain. This is a separation scenario so the two address books are completely different. Any suggetions?
If you try to download the address book it gives error 0x8004010F - object cannot be found - because it is looking at the source domain. But if you configure a brand new Outlook client it will use the correct address book from the new target domain. So the issue isn't with a bad OAB; it is that the Outlook client is still configured to look for old address book.
