Hi Support,

I would like to compress my exchange 2010 database since i have moved quite a number of users to pst but the database hasn't reduced in size. please advise on the points below.

  • Log files are on C: and the database is on D: when i initiate eseutil what grows in size? database or log files?
  • My database is 84 GB how much space do need on D: so that incase it grows the process wont fail? the same thing to logs on C: drive
  • Advise on other utilities that i can use for database maintenance.
  • Any other thing that i need to do or to know before carrying out the process.

I really appreciate you advise in advance.

Meshack.
