What device sent an email?

Message tracking tells me when an email was sent, and to who, but I need to know whatdevice sent the email. Was it an activesync device, or Outlook, and ideally what IP address.

Is this information possible without turning on Exchange Audit Logging for that specific mailbox after the fact which wont help?
