Hi everyone, I have no clue how to solve this one, My customers exchange had 2 accepted domains.
A. exmple1.com (server domain on Exchange)
B. example2.com (Hosted website with 2 emails only)
So far the Server received both domains and the users got the mails. the user John had the emailjohn@example2.com and received his emails.
Now the customer decided to buy another exchange and host the emails example2.com in house, so now example 2 works fine. except the following issue.
John has an email on the new Exchange server with john@example2.com, sending emails is fine, receiving emails from intern and extern fine.
on the old Server john's email is changed to the email john@example1.com (he works for both companies), so when any user from example1 company send an email tojohn@example2.com the email is send internally tojohn@example1.com (even that the example2 does not exist in that organization anymore), the email is not being send externally. It seem like exchange caches somehow the info.
I cleaned the outlook cache, typed the email in outlook all looks fine, but the email always stays inside example1 Exchange, it is not sent via smtp out to example2 company. The recipient does not has the address on exchange 1 anymore, so where is exchange getting the info from to deliver email example2 to the internal example1, if the Organization does not accept nor has an email for excample2?
Help will be greatly appreciated. I cant find the solution
