When using the MSFT Exchange 2010 Mailbox Role Sizer, do the numbers for projected IOPs take into account Background Database Maintenance occurring?

For Example:

User Mailbox Configuration

Tier-1

Number of User Mailboxes / Environment

4700

Number of Mailboxes / Database

69

User Mailbox Size within Database

5885 MB

Transaction Logs Generated / Mailbox / Day

32

IOPS Profile / Mailbox

0.30

Read:Write Ratio / Mailbox

3:2

And this:

Host IO Requirements

/ Database

/ Server

/ DAG

/ Environment

Total Database Required IOPS

25

1692

3384

3384

Total Log Required IOPS

5

372

744

744

Database Read I/O Percentage

60%

Would 0.30 IOPS per mailbox and then the 3384 Total Database Require IOPS include what was necessary to run BDM?
