EFORMS REGISTRY Migration from Exchange 2003 to 2010

I am nearly finished with an Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 migration, but have a problem with the EFORMS REGISTRY. I removed the RoutingGroupConnectors and realized that I could no longer access the custom forms. I could still access all other Public Folders. I re-created the RoutingGroupConnectors and could immediately access them.

On Exchange 2003 Server Manager, I can see a folder in Public Folders with my custom forms. On Exchange 2010 Management Console, Toolbox, Public Folder Management, I can see all the other Public Folders that were migrated.

This may help; EXCHANGE is the name of the 2003 (old) server.

[PS] C:\>Get-PublicFolder -Identity "\NON_IPM_SUBTREE\EFORMS REGISTRY" -Recurse | fl Identity.Replicas
Identity : \NON_IPM_SUBTREE\EFORMS REGISTRY
Replicas : <>
Identity : \NON_IPM_SUBTREE\EFORMS REGISTRY\Organization Forms
Replicas : {Public Folder Database 1912667453, EXCHANGE\First Storage Group\Public Folder Store (EXCHANGE)}

I think that the solution is to use the Exchange 2003 Server Manager and

  1. Expand the Exchange Administrative Group  (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)
  2. Expand the First Administrative Group > Folders on the 2003 server
  3. Right-click the Public Folders
  4. Choose Display System Folders
  5. Drag and drop the EFORMS REGISTRY folder into Exchange Administrative Group  (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)> Folders and wait for the replication to complete.

Can someone confirm that this is correct?

What back out is there if this fails?

Do the forms get converted or will there need to be some updating/republishing needed?

TIA,

Brian
