Hi there,
we're having a very weird issue at a customer. They have a website with a contact form - like so many - but this e-mail doesn't arrive at the recipient.
In exchange 2010 (SBS 2011) the e-mail is received, this is also seen in message tracking. Normally you first look up the email - get a list of e-mail matching the search, you select one and continue and normally there will be 3 lines there then. 1 for receive, 1 for routing and 1 for delivery.
E-mails coming from the website only have the receive line. Can select that message and continue, get the same line again. You can do this infinitely. Select the message again -> next, next -> same line again, etc.
We have enabled SMTP logging on the receive connector - nothing strange here the message is accepted with a 250.
Nothing in the queue viewers - all anti-spam options are disabled even killed the virusscanner for a while (it's just a virusscanner - no fancy hooks into exchange or smtp filtering or the likes). It all makes no difference. The e-mail is accepted by the server but never makes it to the recipient.
Kind of running out of ideas. Anyone have some? :)
TIA
