Hey all,
I have run into a site where there is a 2 node DAG, one CAS/HT which has integrated auth turned on - and internal OWA users are pointed at this server.... and then another CAS/HT with basic
auth which is used for users from the outside world. All these servers are in the same AD site.
I understand that internal outlook users will randomly choose either of these CAS's.... but as long as the certs are correct (and they are) - thats not really an issue...
Is there any downside to this config that im not thinking about?..... sure if one CAS dies, (some) outlook clients will need to restart outlook.... but outside of that, im not really seeing much benefit/reason to create a CASArray with multiple IIS sites
(for different auth) and complicate their enviornment.
