4 CAS/HT servers, 2 physical (with WNLB VIP), 2 virtuals. I have an internal relay connector (on each), set up with anonymous and the IP’s of the servers that I want to allow to use the relay.
Internally, mail sends fine – but, if they (the allowed IP’s in the external relay) try to send EXTERNALLY using any of the IP’s other than the VIP, get “Cannot Relay” - point to the VIP, external mail goes out fine.
I have a sneaky suspicion it’s to do with the binding only being set to the WNLB VIP – can I add additional bindings so that any of the IP’s (those of the virtuals or physicals) can be used to relay anonymous SMTP? Additionally, can I check the current binding using the get-recieveconnector command?
I need to decomm the physicals(and as such, the WNLB VIP) but cannot do so until I can relay external mail through the virtuals
