Hi,
I encountered a strange behavior with Exchange 2010 SP2 address book policy:
- Users have been using the Default GAL for the pass few months. OAB has been downloaded and all the way working fine.
- Recently, I create a New Address List together with a new OAB pointing to this New Address List.
- New OAB was properly generated by mailbox server and replicated to CAS.
- I created a new address book policy, the OAB pointed to New Address List.
- I assign this policy to an existing user.
- It has been a few days since then but the Outlook did not download the New Address Book. When I click Address Book in Outlook, it always show the default GAL.
- If I choose Download Address Book from Outlook, it shows New Address List in the dropdown list (and this is the only choice in the list)
- If I download it manually, I will get New Address List downloaded to the PC; if I don't download it manually, I always get the default GAL as my OAB.
Is there a way to force Outlook to automatically download the new OAB based on the assigned address book policy?
