Exchange 2010 & Outlook 2010 Rooms button problem

Hello everyone,

I have an Exchange 2010 environment in coexistence with Exchange 2007.

Users with Outlook 2010 whose mailbox have been migrated to Exchange 2010 experience delays when pushing the "Rooms" button of the meeting scheduling assistant and after waiting for around 30 seconds get the typical message "Outlook is trying to retrieve data from the Exchange Server". Although sometimes they get an "operation failed" error they finally always receive the list of rooms.

This happens only to users in cached mode.

I wasn't able to reproduce the problem on Outlook 2007 although I experience a short delay.

I've tried updating the OAB on the server side and forcing the download of the address book on the client side.

All the meeting rooms reside on E2007 and I've tried migrating one of them to E2010. I don't want to migrate all the rooms to E2010 as the 80% of the users (2200+) are still in E2007.

CAS Servers are behind an F5 HLB.

Any ideas?

Thank you very much.
