I am back.
Predeploy analyzer says..."
Access control list (ACL) inheritance is blocked for the Exchange database object (CN=Public Folder,CN=First Storage Group,CN=InformationStore,CN=MAILVS,CN=Servers,CN=CAN,CN=Administrative Groups,CN=CANCR,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=CANCR,DC=CA). This may cause mail flow problems, store mounting issues and other service outages.
1) Do I REALLY need to reenable permissions inheritance?
2)I inherited (no pun intended) our current exchange setup so I dont know why inheritance would be disabled. We are one of two child domains with an empty forest root. The Public Folder root is here but numerous subfolders are on the server in the other child domain.
DFLs, link state updates, ADConnectors.. all good but this one makes me nervous.
Thoughts?
