Several weeks ago, converted from SBS2003 to SBS2011 (Exchange 2010), exchange database was working just prior to installed the following updates and reboot. It indicated being in dirty shutdown state. Ran esutil to get in clean state but still fails to mount.
Mailbox error: An Active Manager operation failed with a transient error. Error: MapiExceptionNetworkError: unable to make admin interface connection to server, (hr=0x80040115, ec=-2147221227).
Running esutil /g (integrity) & /ml on database & logs come back clean
I've read various postings, although some reference 2007 version, don't want to cause more issues than what I have now. I don't know if it's still a database problem or permissions. I've tried running as administrator, setup /pl and setup /ps, they both immediately come back with a command prompt.
One posting mentioned removing log files, so I moved but still won't mount. (I put them back)
I"ve thought of removing the updates, but don't feel that would resolve, even though because of the updates this issue came about.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
