I'm migrating mailboxes from SBS 2003 to SBS 2011. According to the instructions pointed out by the SBS 2011 migration tool (http://technet.microsoft.com/sv-se/library/gg563803.aspx) "Move Exchange Server mailboxes and settings for Windows SBS 2011 Standard migration" I should select all of the legacy mailboxes and click New Local Move Request in the task pane. Then "In the details pane of the Exchange Management Console, verify that no legacy mailboxes are listed".
The problem is that New Local Move Request completes with "Number of corrupted items : 0" but the mailboxes still have Receipient Type Detail = Legacy Mailbox which I interpret as not being correct, and which will prohibit me from disconneting the SBS 2003 machine.
The instructions indicate that if some problems occur then I should run the New Local Move Request, but here comes the next problem. I've deleted the mailbox entry in Receipient Configuration / Move Request , but the link to New Local Move Request doesn't show up in Receipient Configuration / Mailbox.
So to summarize: Is it a problem that the mailboxes are "Legacy Mailbox"? And if so, how do I correct it?
