Alright, I’m stumped on this one. I’ve created user accounts (because my attempt at using Distribution Lists was the same result) and stored them in Active Directory. On the Security tab I’ve checked “Send As” for the appropriate person who should Send As for this account.
I’ve gone into EMC and selected the mailbox and clicked “Manage Send As Permissions” and the permissions are correct.
I’ve opened each mailbox in Outlook and assigned the user accounts Owner rights to the mailbox. I’ve also modified the Delegation so they have full control over the Inbox.
The address is not Hidden from the GAL.
I let that sit over a weekend. I've also restarted the IS Service.
Still getting this error when attempting to Send As:
You can't send a message on behalf of this user unless you have permission to do so. Please make sure you're sending on behalf of the correct sender, or request the necessary permission. If the problem continues, please contact your helpdesk.
Note the error says "Sending on Behalf" even though I'm trying to Send As. At this point, I'll settle for either to work.
Any suggestions for what I need to do to get this to work?
