Hi,
I have successfully migrated a mailbox cross forest from Exchange 2007 SP3 to Exchange 2010 SP2 RU5v2, but I have a problem with Outlook when logging on to the legacy domain.
I have logged the user on to a PC using their legacy AD account in the legacy domain, I then created a mail profile for the target domain, Outlook will connect but not automatically, it requests the password for the AD account in the new domain. I realise that the AD accounts are different so AD/Exchange in the target domain requires authentication but I would like to find a way around it if possible. I'm keen to maintain the same experience for the user so requiring an additional password input when opening Outlook isn't ideal.
Can I do something with Autodiscover? Checing the 'remember' box doesn't work either.
Thanks.
