How to Automatically accept meeting requests sent externally ?

Hello,

An attorney at my company receives a lot of meeting requests from outside the company.  The only way they will populate his calendar is if he accepts them.  I believe this is by design.  However, he is very busy and sometimes misses meetings because he did not accept them when they arrive as email.  He would like them to populate (autoaccept?) his calendar by default.

Another thing that happens is this - if the organizer (external) updates a meeting that he did accept, it does not update.  It actually disappears from his calendar.  I have researched this and found 2 things and want to confirm which if either one to set.

- From Outlook 2010: Options > Calendar > Resource Scheduling > Automatically accept meeting requests and remove canceled meetings.

- Set-CalendarProcessing -Identity "username" -AutomateProcessing AutoAccept (username = user)

Both methods seem more directed at Resource Mailboxes as a opposed to users. I am leaning towards the - Set-CalendarProcessing shell command.

Will this give me what I am looking for and if so, will it possible clear up the issue where previously accepted external meetings disappear when updated?

Thanks!
