Hi all, I hope you can help me out.. Situation:
We have two exchange servers one mailbox and one cas/hub server.
Running on ESX5.1 and EMC Storage.
Versions: Windows 2008 R2 - Exchange 2010 SP3 (all update applied, already tuned and reviewed by 2 Exchange specialists and a few ICT all-rounders.) Also MS is involved, but they did not have the solution.
We seem to have random time-out problems, but only occurring on a few random users, while the other users(about 100) experience no problems.
It happens especially on Monday morning, sometimes Tuesday (Dutch time) but the rest of the week, or sometimes even 2 weeks we have no problems.
When it happens, one or more users (one by one, (sort of sequential) get the following outlook time-out problems:
With a running outlook (2010)
"Outlook is trying to retrieve information from the Microsoft Exchange server xxx”
When starting outlook (2010)
Only the splash screen appear.
When we try to logon via owa on the exchange(CAS) server itself, we still get no response but the one of the following errors:
Event 14035
Process Microsoft.Exchange.InfoWorker.Common.Delayed`1[System.String]: MailTips query failed for mailbox <USER>SMTP:user@company.com. Latency:OpenSession:53386, total:53386. The returned exception is: Microsoft.Exchange.InfoWorker.Common.Availability.TimeoutExpiredException: Request could not be processed in time. Timeout occurred during 'Getting-MailboxFull'.
. Name of the server where exception originated: VSRxxxCas.
Event 1050
The execution time of agent 'Conversations Processing Agent' exceeded 90000 milliseconds while handling event 'OnPromotedMessage' for message with InternetMessageId: 'Not Available'. This is an unusual amount of time for an agent to process a single event. However, Transport will continue processing this message.
Event 10027
There are 5 RPC requests for the mailbox "c82d8565-474f-435e-9f39-1dae220c8464: /o=Company/ou=First Administrative Group/cn=Recipients/cn=USERNAME" on the database "85ffd7d2-66ed-45d8-8b3b-39a3be19669c: /o=CompanyX/ou=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)/cn=Configuration/cn=Servers/cn=VSR0065/cn=Microsoft Private MDB" that have taken an abnormally long time to complete. This may be indicative of performance issues with your server.
(When the problem seems to be in the “Online Archive” the owa session starts normally(most of the time)
This problem came up since the migration form 2003 about 9months ago.
At first it involved 2 or 3 random users, today about 9 or more random users.
