I need to know if i can remove a mailbox database from a DAG without deleting the database or alter anything in it. If yes, can you provide any link on how I can achieve this?
I used to have 2 exchange servers with DAG with 3 of my mailbox databases in it.
Removed the 1 and now I have 1 Exchange server and the DAG. I want to remove the DAG but keep the databases with the mailboxes as it is now. One thought is to create 3 new databases and move all mailboxes into them. I know it will work but if it is there a more easy way to achieve this, I would appreciate it.
My main reason of not want to keep it as it is now is that the SCOM management packs for Exchange sends me alerts saying that there is no passive database copy blah blah blah.....
