I am running Exchange 2010 SP3 with the latest rollup (2).
It seems I get this error only through Outlook using Outlook Anywhere:
Cannot expand the folder. Microsoft Exchange is not available. Either there are network problems or the Exchange server is down for maintenance. (then the path to the MAILBOX server in AD is displayed here /o= /o=, etc).
Public folders load and work fine on the LAN without going through Outlook Anywhere and they work fine in OWA!
I've tried restarting the RPC client service on all Exchange servers. This resolves nothing. I'm worried this is a bug that was reintroduced with rollup 2 for SP3.
I had to install the rollup to fix an issue with the transport service crashing when using a disclaimer on outgoing email.
Please advise!
