I have a user who has a mailbox of around 4.8Gb (I got here too late to limit it any further) and she is getting severe performance issues with it over Outlook 2007. Her laptop will regularly slow down, the cooling fan will rev up and Outlook will stop responding, with the message in the status bar "Updating Inbox" appearing.
Although her mailbox is "only" 4.8Gb, her local OST file continually grows to 17-19Gb, despite me having deleted it and indeed her Windows profile a couple of times. I have recently noticed she is also receiving a lot of messages in her Sync Issues folder
(there were several hundred for the last few weeks). The following is a typical entry.
15:49:10 Synchronizer Version 12.0.6606

Anyone any ideas what is causing these problems? I have also wiped and recreated her profile on my Blackberry BES Express server in case the synch problems were there, but that doesn't seem to have helped.
