Error installing roles in Exchange 2010

We have a brand new windows 2008 R2 server attached to a server 2003 domain.  We're able to install Exchange 2010 but can't install the mail role, client access role or the hub transport role.  All fail with "There are no more endpoints available from the endpoint mapper."  The exact error from the hub transport role is:
