I"m using a Small Business Server 2011, which is using Exchange 2010.
For email archiving i use the "Mailstore"-software.
Every night email is archived to an external "mailstore"-database.
Now i have a problem in this way that i get warnings that some emails cannot be deleted in the exchange database.
Mails that apparantly are in the "Drafts" folder of those specific 2 users.
When i look in their outlook, i cannot see those emails,
also when i log in via OWA for those 2 mailboxes, nothing is in the drafts folder.
After contacting support at "Mailstore", i got the following message (after a few mails back and forward) :
If so, there must be some database inconsistency on your Exchange, it sends out links to mails over EWS which are dead. This cannot be solved from MailStore perspective. Please cleanup the Exchange database.
What and how is the safest way way to do this ?
And/Or can i cleanup or cleanout, only the 2 concerning folders of those 2 users ?
