We are running Exchange 2010 single site. Now our boss wants a complete Data Center Redundancy for Exchange, he wants a complete data center switch over automatically. We have a simple current scenario, our MX record is hosted at our ISP, they rout emails to our public IP, ie our Firewall interface, and then firewall passes it to spam filter and then to hub transport. Actually we already have a connected DR where we only have an Exchange Server with Hub and CAS roles (not included in primary data center's CAS NLB) and a DAG member which holds all the passive copies. Please help me out in automatic Data Center Fail over scenario, what shell we have at our DR (means another firewall router and spam filter) and how it will automatically fail over if primary data center goes down and how much time will it take to come alive.
