I have a question as to what permissions are required to be able to book appointments in a calendar for a Room Mailbox.
I have a room mailbox setup and in Outlook (2013) I go to the properties for the Calendar and go to the Permissions tab I can add a user and give them the Author permission which has the following rights:
Read = Full Details, Delete Items = Own, Write = Create Items & Edit Own, Other = Folder Visible
I can then login to OWA with that user and I and add and delete my own caledar entries. If I go back to Outlook and change the permissions to Custom by changing the Read permissions to Free/Busy time, subject, location
If I logout and back in to OWA then I can no longer even Add events to the Calendar. Do you need Read permssions to be Full Details in order to edit a room mailbox calendar?
