I have 2 newly built Exchange 2010 mailbox servers with 2 nics each (1 for LAN traffic, 1 for DAG replication). On both mailbox servers, the EMC and EMS hang at launch. The EMC is stuck at initializing.. Setting up remote powershell session. The EMS powershell console also hangs at verbose: connecting to server.

I have 2 other CAS/HT servers that work fine. The servers that work fine only have a single NIC, so maybe thats related to the issue.
Eventually the connection to the EMC on the management server times out with the following error -
Closing remote server shell instance failed with the following error message: The WinRM client cannot complete the operation within the time specified. Check if the machine name is valid and is reachable over the network and firewall exception for Windows Remote Management service is enabled.
I've confirmed that its not a firewall issue as I also tested disabling Windows Firewall entirely. The machines are registered correctly in DNS using the LAN nic. The replication NIC does not register with DNS.
