Hello everyone.
My environment information is below; we're migrating from an Exchange 2003 environment to an Exchange 2010 environment.
My question - can I externally log into a mailbox on server B by using the OWA url provided by server A?
(*I want our users to utilize one URL, both internally and externally, i.e., https://webmail.domain.com/owa, regardless of what server their mailbox sits on*)
Server A - physical location 1, running CAS, MX, and HT roles
Server B - physical location 2, running CAS, MX, and HT roles
Both servers reside in the same domain
As it currently stands, users with mailboxes on Server A are able to access their email both inside and outside of the network via OWA.
However, users with mailboxes on Server B are not able to access their mailboxes externally, and are instead provided with a redirected login (https://serverB.domain.com/owa) that just recycles after each login attempt.
I'm at a loss, if anyone has an idea or two. I've read the MS proxying article (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb310763.aspx), and if that is the answer, then maybe I've missed something.
Thanks for your time!!!
