Exchange 2010
4 Mailbox servers (with DAG implemented)
3 client access servers
3 hub transport server
We are planning a major network switch upgrade, and all of the Exchange servers will be without any network access for several hours (Power will still be available). All exchange nodes will be affected, and both MAPI and replication networks will be down.
Are there any steps I should take before hand to ensure the servers and databases return to a clean and functional state when network service is re-established?
Should I shut them all down?
Should I suspend the database copies until the swtich upgrades are complete?
Should I just leave everything alone?
