Implementing 60 day retention on non-default folder in exchange for lync conversation history

Our company wants to implement a 60 day retention policy for the Lync Conversation History folder.  I am trying to implement this and not finding a way.  I have tried managed folders, but it puts the managed Conversation History folder in as a subfolder under managed folders.  I also tried retention policies but have not found a way to implement them on a single outlook folder company wide without manually applying the policy through their outlook client.

I have also tried finding a way to use registry settings to enable the autoarchive settings on that folder, but can't find the registry settings needed to do this through a GPO.

If someone knows how to change the location of the folder Lync uses I could point to my managed folder.  Is there any way to do this company wide without having to manually set it on every users computer manually?
