Hi,
I have a simple Exchange organization with 2 Exchange 2010 servers running in different AD sites. A DAG is created between the two servers and the mailbox database fails over when needed. My problem is that the intersite communication between the two servers is not happening. The messages remain in the SMTP Relay to Remote Active Directory Site queue. The server in the main site now doesn't have any messages in the queue but the secondary one have about 40 messages stuck for 2 days (these messages went there while the database was switched over to the secondary site and they can't get out now when the database is back on the primary site). The organization has only one send connector and both server are configured with only the Client and Default receive connectors with the same normal permissions. There are 2 Cisco routers between the servers but a VPN is configured between them and they shouldn't be blocking any traffic. I tried turning off the Windows firewall on the two Exchange servers to exclude firewall issue. Nothing happened.
Please tell me how to free up this queue....
Thanks.
