not able to share non default folder

We've a Exchange 2010 SP2 RU4 v2 with Outlook 2010 SP1 environment and for some reason I can't share a folder (eg accounts) anymore. I set the appropriate folder rights first in the properties page of the mailbox (rightclick on [user]@[domain]) and second on the folder "accounts" for a user (ftest) both as reviewer. The folder "accounts" resides right beneath the root so I should only set folder rights in these two places. A shared icon appears on the folder "accounts".

But when opening Outlook of FTest the folder "accounts" should appear automatically in his mailbox but it does not. When I give FTest Full Access permissions in EMC and restart outlook for FTest after a few seconds the mailbox appears so auto-mapping is working.

What am I missing here? Isn't it so that when I share a folder with someone it should work in a few seconds after restarting Outlook?

Thnx Remco
