Hello Everyone,
I have a question about accessing 2007 public folders from 2010 OWA.
Currently we are in a process of transitioning from exchange 2003/2007 to exchange 2010.
We have already installed and setup the following:
1. Exchange CAS Servers in an array
2. Hub Transport Servers
3. Mailbox Servers
4. DAG
5. Legacy names, etc...
Users from 2007 can login into OWA 2010 which redirects them to 2007 OWA
Outlook connections are working fine
all routing connectors are working fine
Right now all active users, mailboxes, public folders, oab is on 2007 servers (no issues there)
2007 users can access Public Folders from OWA or Outlook
2010 users or 2007 users that were moved to 2010 mailbox server can access public folders in outlook but not in OWA.
Everything seems to be working fine, except for public folders.
we did configure the 2010 mailbox databases to point to 2007 public folders.
I read somewhere a while ago (which I can't find the article now) that you can't access lower versions of public folders through OWA, is this correct?
So the only way for users to access 2007 public folders it to replicate the 2007 public folders to 2010 public folders?
Thank you in advance!
