I have a customer with a domain, lets call it companyx.co.nz. A while ago, they purchased another domain name for an online presence called companyxonline.co.nz.
At the time companyxonline.co.nz was added as an Accepted domain into the Exchange 2010 environment and various emails accounts setup for this domain.
The majority of the accounts are shared Mailboxes which work fine with Outlook 2010 when giving users access...recently a Mac based machine has needed access using Mac Mail or Outlook Mac 2011 client. I've been troubleshooting this for some time, neither accept the logon format or password, I can test this successfully by trying to log into OWA with:
COMPANYX\companyxonlinewebmaster (username for mailbox)
I am a bit lost as to what to try next?
