Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Storage.AccountDisabledException

Using Exchange 2010.  A users' AD account was deleted and a new account created in AD.  On the mail server, the mail account was then linked to this new AD account.  All went without any errors.

When the user now connects (in Outlook or in OWA) she gets the error that the mailbox cannot be opened as it is disabled.  I checked in the exchange and in AD and both report it is enabled.  I tried disabling and then re-enabling.

If I try to move the account, it errors with the message the domain controller cannot find the account.  I look at AD on the same DC and it is definately there.

I have deleted the AD account and re-created twice.  Exactly the same results.

Any ideas?
