In the enterprise we have a 2 node DAG.
The Exchange servers are virtual
We had an hardware problem in one of the hosts server, and one of the DAG members shuted down. We that happened the other DAG pick all the databases.
The problem is that after the server power on the DAG member that was down, can't access the FSW. Because of this the cluster service stops.
I verified all the permissions, the two servers have the same permissions on the FSW. I check connectivity.
The only difference that i see on the two servers is that after the cluster service and while is started, the server don't have the IP that is for the DAG. Only the server that is ok, have the ip.
The errors that i have are :
"File share witness resource 'File Share Witness (\\XXX.XXX.corp\DAG2.XXX.corp)' failed to arbitrate for the file share '\\XXX.XXX.corp\DAG2.XXX.corp'. Please ensure that file share '\\hiq-XXX.XXX.corp\DAG2.XXX.corp' exists and is accessible by the cluster."
"Cluster resource 'File Share Witness (\\xxx.xxx.corp\DAG2.xxx.corp)' in clustered service or application 'Cluster Group' failed."
