Hello -
We are running Exchange 2010 SP2. One of our executive officer's "Deleted Items" folders has continually duplicated itself (somehow...we know Outlook for Mac was involved...but not the issue anymore) to the point where the folder contains 55 GB of email content!!
So...simple fix, right? Just empty the Deleted Items. Doesn't work - Exchange continually gives errors (ranging from "maximum size exceeded" to "you cannot delete more than 4000 emails at a time" to other nonsense errors).
So, I'm now trying to find a way from EMS to delete all content in the "Deleted Items" folder...however, Exchange 2010 SP2 replaced the Export-Mailbox command (which allowed you to filter to a specific folder and kill it with the "DeleteContent" argument) with the "Search-Mailbox" command which does not allow folder filtering.
This seems like it would be a no-brainer, but I'm completely stuck. Your help is much appreciated!
