DAG requires Enterprise Edition of Windows therefore more budget needed. How to compensate.

Just a question.

I know that Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition may have four virtual machines running under the same license. These virtual machines, can have the same version of operating system (Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition), in order to install Exchange Server 2010 Standard on the first virtual machine using DAG?.

We are just talking about money, because with Exchange Server 2007 to have database replication between sites, the Operating System requirement was Standard Edition, and with Exchange Server 2010 and DAG the OS requirement is Enterprise Edition ($1029 vs $3999).

So, to sell the idea to the customer, I am thinking to tell them that with Enterprise Edition of the Operating System, they are buying 4 servers actually, 1 for Exchange 2010 and DAG, and the other 3 for whatever they want.

I am correct?
